Born and raised in Cameroon with French and English as official languages like in Canada. After completing her primary and high-school education in French and English, she earned a scholarship as one of the best high-school graduates to pursue a study in medicine in Germany.
As a high-school graduate in French and English, she took eight months of intensive classes learning the German language and got thereafter her admission in the faculty of medicine at the University of Leipzig in Germany where she earned later her Medical Doctor degree. Her medical research work for her thesis focused on the possible neurological treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
After Germany, she moved to Canada where she successfully completed tests required to qualify for the residency and was admitted in family medicine at the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec, Canada.
Subsequently to completion of her residency in family medicine, she got her license from the College of Physician and Surgeon of Ontario and College of Family Physician of Canada to practice family medicine in Ontario.


She has been involved in promoting healthcare service in French for French Canadians in Ontario in diverse organizations. For instance, as board director member of the French Healthcare Services in Peel and Halton Board, and council advisor member of the French Language Healthcare Services Advisory Council for George Smitherman, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care under Ontario PM Dr. Dalton McGuinty.
She has been practicing family medicine in Ontario since 2012 in Brampton and then moved to Vaughan as of March 2019 where she opened MacKenzie All-In-One Medical Clinic for Family Practice, Walk-in Clinic and Travel Clinic.
